Vatnajokull Glacier

Spent the last few days exploring Vatnajokull National Park which is home to the world's largest ice cap outside the poles. It dominates the entire region with rivers of frozen ice pouring down the valleys. Some great hiking and plenty more waterfalls.  Also visited Fjallsarlon and Jokulsarlon glacial lagoons where wind and water sculpt the floating icebergs eventually making their way to the sea.
